Amazing Thailand Grand Sale Festival 2009

Most of us are unaware that there is a grand sale festival going on in Thailand, offering visitors great bargains from June 1st to August 31st, 2009. The Amazing Thailand Grand Sale, an annual three-month shopping extravaganza, offers special discounts of 10-70 percent on a diverse range of products and services - all extended by participating department stores, shopping complexes and retail shops. Not just stores, there are also interesting deals at spas, hotels, eateries, golf courses, travel packages and even medical check-ups at top hospitals.

The shopping campaign extends beyond Bangkok to several other cities such as Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Cha-am, Pattaya, Phuket, Krabi and Samui Island. To locate the participants of this grand sale fair, simply look out for the "Amazing Thailand Grand Sale" decal sign on display at the outlets.

In Bangkok, you'd've noticed many malls and brand outlets having mid-year sales / end of season sales - these are all part of this grand festival. For new visitors to the city, most of Bangkok's major shopping centers are located along Ploenchit and Sukhumvit roads - right on the Skytrain route, and many of the department stores have direct walkways linking them to Skytrain stations - making it very convenient to hop from one store to the next.
