Terminal 21

Terminal 21 is the new shopping mall on the block that has become the talk of town.  It is located at Asoke on Sukhumvit Road, and is distinct from others due to its "Market Street Style", with each floor themed according to top tourist destinations of the world, namely: Rome, Paris, Tokyo, London, Istanbul, San Francisco and Hollywood.   Each floor is designed to have the feel of these various cities, with installations of their icons.  It's a heaven for those of you terminally addicted to photo-ops for updating your Facebook profiles.

You will have to keep a whole day aside to check out over 600 shops showcasing fashion clothing & accessories (shoes, bags, etc), cosmetics & gifts, mobiles and gadgets.  But more interesting than these are their endless variety of restaurants and cafes.  Among their interesting choices of food offerings are:  Mos Burger, Subway, Crepe Box, Polar Ice, Piri Piri / Cafe Fish, Coco Ichibanya  (curry house), Gazebo, Pepper Lunch, Red Mango, Seefah, Farm Design (Japanese bakery), Steak Lao, Sunrise Taco, Manhattan Fish Market, Marvelous Cream (Japanese desserts) & Olivie Cafe (Italian food).   There's also a bookshop (Asia Books) and a supermarket (Gourmet Market).
