Central department stores are having a plethora of sales promotional programs this summer 2009 season:
- Central Chidlom is running a clearance sale of upto 70% off on women and men fashion at the Event Hall on the 3rd floor from March 12 to 22. I have hardly found things attractive in their clearance sale but that's because I always manage to go only on the last day when all the good stuff is taken. So if you really want to find branded treasures from their clearance bounty, best to head there as early as possible, before your other shopping competitors get there! If you are shopping there on the 15, 16 or 17, you are encouraged to carry your own bags to further avail of their 'No Bag Day' discounts.
- All branches of Central have something called the 'No Bag Day Sale' on the 15, 16 and 17 of every month, whereby if you take your purchases without the shopping bag, you can get additional discounts of 5 - 10 % !!!
- There is another promotion called "The 1 Card X-treme Summer Sale" from March 6 to May 6 (2 months), where the points you accumulate in your 'The 1 Card' can be exchanged for discount coupons which then can be used for your subsequent purchases.....complicated, isn't it? Basically every 25 Baht spent earns you 1 point. Using certain credit cards will entitle you to more discounts.
- Central Lardprao's Promotion Hall on the 1st floor has a "Small Appliances Sale" from March 11 to 17 - household and kitchen appliances - upto 30% off.
- There is the Central "Bed n Rest" fair at the Ramindra branch from March 10 to 23 offering 20 - 70%discounts.
- The Central Lingerie Sale (all branches) from February 25 to March 22 - upto 60% off.
- Central 'Beauty Bonus' from February 25 to April 5 features several discounts and coupons on their cosmetics and perfumes.
